Wow....time flies....

It's definitely been a while since we posted an update on our sweet boy and our family!  So much has been going on it's hard to keep our head above water most days.  Nick received a job promotion in May which requires us to move to San Antonio, TX.  While we are excited about the new opportunity and adventure for our family as well as being closer to family in Dallas, it is a bittersweet move for us.  We have come to call Nashville our home and will miss our family and friends dearly.  But we are excited about what the Lord has in store for us and know that He will guide us through this transition.  We were very fortunate on our trip to San Antonio a few weeks back to find a house we love and sign a contract- all in 4 days!  Now we are just waiting for the end of July to hopefully move down there.  Nick has already started his new position and we are anxiously waiting to reunite our family.  We are excited about this new journey!

Back in May we had 6 months professional pictures taken of our sweet boy.  Jack only lasted about an hour during the session before getting fussy.  Plus it was 80+ degrees [which doesn't sound so bad now that it is 100+ degrees in Nashville] and I know he was getting hot.  But the photographer was able to capture some pretty good shots of our little man!

Jack is growing so much these days!  He is well over 20lbs now and has 2 teeth [that we can see]!  His bottom front 2 teeth popped through 2 weeks ago and it just proves how big he is getting.  He can roll over 360 degrees and can sit up pretty good on his own.  He's super playful and loves to laugh!  He's pretty intent on wanting to touch everything and hold everything in his hands.

We are overwhelmed with thankfulness for everything and everyone God has blessed us with.  He has always provided for us no matter the situation and we stand in awe of how faithful He is to us.  We are reminded through His word that He will supply all of our needs according to His riches and glory!  Jack is a constant reminder of His goodness to us!
