Jackson's Room

We finally got most of Jackson's room put together with the exception of one painting that a friend of ours is painting for us.  But other than that, we think we have everything the way we want it for now and are excited for Jackson to see it when he gets here!

All of the creative touches definitely came from Nick who is super creative when it comes to coming up with fun ideas.  He designed the shelves and the paddle with hooks which he also built.  As you can tell, we are pretty excited about Jackson's room!  Boats have become a hobby of ours and we look forward to sharing the fun we have on the lake with our son.  The precious turtles [which are my favorite] were a sweet gift from Ally and Bobby, brought back from their trip to the San Diego Zoo.  Our nephew, Will, seemed to love them so we know Jack will love them too!  

We finished up childbirth classes this week, which were very informative and very interesting!  Nick was a trooper making it through all of the classes with me and even learned how to do a mean swaddle.  Now that the classes are through, it's hard for us to believe that we only have 6 weeks or so left.  The past couple of months have seemed to fly by and November will be here before we know it!

We just want to thank our family and friends for all of the sweet gifts you all gave us!  But more importantly, thank you for all of the support and encouragement during this special time in our life.  We've been blessed with great examples around us to look up to and look forward to becoming the godly parents that we know God desires for us to be!
