Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone!  It's been a couple of weeks since the last post but we have been busy with company and the holidays :)  GJ [Kellie's Dad] and Uncle Took [Kellie's brother] visited us for a few days.  We had a great time!  Jackson really enjoyed snuggling with them!  We did a little bit of Christmas shopping, went to Gaylord Opryland Hotel and saw the Christmas lights and enjoyed football Sunday over at the Worstells.  Nick, GJ and Uncle Took even took in a Vanderbilt Basketball game.

We had a wonderful Christmas with Nick's parents and sister!  We headed over to their house early Christmas Eve and spent our first night away from home.  Jack did really well and enjoyed snuggling with his grandparents! Jack also received some great gifts from our families, which we are incredibly thankful for!  We missed seeing Kellie's side of the family this year but are thankful we got to visit with some of her family over the past couple of weeks.

This weekend we started doing Tummy time!  Jack really moves his legs and arms a lot.  He has a pretty strong neck and tries very hard to lift it up.  After a while, he lays his head down and goes to sleep!  Such a sweet boy!

Soon after Jack was born, we took him to a professional photographer to get a few pictures.  Below are a few great shots she got of our son:

We feel incredibly blessed for so much this year.  We not only thank the Lord for our beautiful son, but all of the other provisions He has given to us.  We are constantly reminded of how faithful He is and how thankful we are that He loves us enough to send His son to earth to die for us.  What an amazing example of unconditional love!  Our prayer is that we can show that same kind of love to our son and to others.  We hope everyone has a blessed Holiday!
