A few of my favorite things....

Now that Jack is 8 weeks old, we are getting into a pretty good routine with him.  He is now sleeping at least 7 hours consistently through the night, even hitting the 9 hour mark on several occasions as of late.  He's napping pretty good throughout the day for an hour and a half to two hours at a time.  Many of those naps are spent in his swing, which he loves [thanks Uncle Took & Aunt B- Kellie's brother and sister-in-law]!  After he eats and before his naps, he loves laying on his mat.  He rolled from his tummy to his back twice when Aunt Kayse was in town, but hasn't done it since.  We aren't sure if that was just a fluke, but he gets very close.  Since rolling over, he hasn't enjoyed tummy time as much and gets frustrated pretty quickly.  But he's definitely trying!

Jack also loves bath time.  This is his special time with daddy and he seems to enjoy the warm water and being without clothes and a diaper!  This week I popped in to watch the two in action and Jack even cracked us a big smile!  Of course, I didn't have the camera with me and didn't get a picture of it.  Hopefully, he will keep giving us more of those precious smiles!

The other thing we noticed as of late is that he likes sitting up.  His neck isn't strong enough for him to sit in the bumbo seat but he likes when we prop him up on the couch.  He just sits there for a few minutes and looks around at everything.  We love how much more alert he is becoming!

Jack's favorite thing, though, is definitely snuggling!  He's a great cuddler and even cracks a little smile right before he falls asleep.  Such a sweet boy!
